Washable shaped nappies: Tots Bots VS. Clwt Twt - opinions wanted

Hi all
I was really interested to read all the advice given to Astrophe on which shaped nappy is best. As many of you know I am expecting my first baby in a couple of months. I am keen to try different cloth nappies, and am slowly building up my birth-potty collection. I have a Motherease One Size and a Popolini One Size (the Popolini seems a bit bulkier). Obviously, I haven?t tried them yet, and I don?t know what shape, or gender my baby will be. So I?m getting a few to try before buying a lot!
Anyway, the point of this post is to ask for more opinions. In my collection (amongst others) I now have a Tots Bots, a Popolini Bravo and a Clwt Twt. They all seem very similar - a terry shaped nappy.
As my baby isn?t here yet, I was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion on performance of these nappies ? absorbency, drying (I have a tumble drier and do intend to use it) etc.
I understand that Clwt Twt is a brand new, up-and-coming company from Wales. Has anyone else heard of them? Their nappy seems lovely and fluffy. They only have non-applix at the moment. If anyone wants to get hold of one of their nappies, they cost £4.99. (If you do get one, and have never heard of them before now, can you say you heard it from me ? Abi Gilby? They were nice enough to give me free P&P if I showed my friends the nappy, as they are a new company and are competing against tried and trusted brands. I thought that was fair enough! The lady?s name is Suki Morys and they have a website (under construction) at www.clwt-twt.co.uk/ with contact details.
I look forward to hearing your opinions.

Hello, I just did a search on ebay and she has some listed on there. They look really nice and also very cheap! She had a choice of aplix or nippa so I bought one nippa for £3.99! Will let you know what its like. Have also emailed her and said I heard it from you, thank you very much!

I've used Tots and liked them - very absorbant but do take ages to dry. Personally I don't like aplix - DS learned to undo it at a very early age whereas nippas and poppers still defeat him. One problem with terry in general is that it does tend to go crunchy in hard-water areas after a lot of washing. The Minki Huggle is another terry nappy you might try -- a bit bulky for daytime use IMO but a good overnight nappy.

I've not heard of Clwt Twt (and I really have to stop buying nappies) but I'll be interested to see how their nappies fare.

not heard of clwt twt but again, interested in how the nappies do.
there is another company called little lamb who make nappies almost identical to tots but general consensus seems to be that they aren't made as well and don't last as long... that's the only thing I would worry about with cheap nappies... the quality of the terry and how long it'll last
