When you start to potty train a boy, do you have him sit on the potty for a wee, or "point" at the potty

He's my first DS...

Most sit first usually.

sit him!

Sit him on the potty .... and make sure that his willy is pointing down between his legs ... otherwise .... well I'm sure you can guess....

however one friend put a stool/step at the loo and her son stood on this and wee'd in the loo .... with varying degrees of success
