ds is 22months , i've been sitting him on the potty every morning and night for the past 2 months...just to get him used to it..and has made alot of progress.. i think he's still abit young and although he has a variety of words, he's still very much 'ahhhh raaaaa daa teeerrr'

yesterday i realised that we were very low on nappies and needed to make them last...so i decided to keep a very watchful eye on him while he ran about with no bottoms on...and encouraged him to sit on the potty every 10/20 minutes.....after an hour he started to go to the potty all on his own.....we had 2 accidents in 3 hours....

so....today i put him on potty before going shopping.....put a nappy on him....we go to the shops for 2 hours.....come home...he's screaming to get out of buggy.....so i get him out..he runs to potty! he's got a clean nappy...(omg! i say!) ...he does a mother of all wee's on potty...(YAYYYYY i say!) ........
its now 4 hours on and he is refusing to have a nappy on...screaming about it actually. ......i've tried putting pants on him, but he wees in them (!!!!)

...so i dont know what to do.....no nappy in day, but let him walk about with nothing on???

Hi Faeriemum
I found this with my son when he started training at 28 months but luckily it was summer. We progressed to trousers with no pants with good results and are slowly getting there with pants! He almost never wets when its trousers only but tends to wee a bit still in pants. He is 36 months now.
So, he's not the only one!
Helen
