Please share your 11/12 month old baby's (if they are walking already) shoe size

I know not a biggie but genuinely interested. DD2 is 11 months old and she has been walking since just before 10 months. Meaning she wants to walk everywhere. I was away on holiday for a month and she had some pram shoes size 2 which fitted fine. We got back last week and I noticed before we got back that it doesn't fit her anymore. however it seemed like DD1's size 3 shoes were still too big. Assumed that she needed a 2.5 and decided to have her measured at Clarks. They measured her on 4.5 which i was quite a surprised about but the moment she put the proper shoes on she walked better.

Both my girls weighed the same at 8lb 14. However dd2 kinda slowed down and she weighs much less than what her big sister weighed even though she is a much better eater. Obviously Im not fussed but DD1 wore her 4.5 Clarks shoe only at size 18 months.

So can you please share your baby's sizes just to see what is average. DD1 is now 9.5 at age 4 years. I am a size 3 and hubby is size 13. I am just hoping that she doesn't end up with feet like his older sis which is a size 9.

my 3 were all walking by 10 months and were between a 4 and a 5 at 11 months

Oh so it's not massive then. Or do they kind of slow down. Just genuinely interested as was really surprised when the lady said 4.5 thought she was going to say 2.5

Both mine walked at 10 months. Dd was a size 4.5 and ds a 5.5.

DS walked at about 11 months, he is a 4H. The shop assistant did say he had quite big feet!

Both my dds got their first shoes around 14 months. They both had to have pre-walkers even though they were walking for weeks by then as they started in a size 2 and my local Clarks shoe shop only had walkers from size 3.

DD3 at 12 months was just a 2, When we went to get her first proper shoes at 15m she was a size 3.5g, she has really tidgy feet but wider than dd2's at that age.

There isn't really an average shoe size for a certain age, it all depends on other factors like height, weight, mum and dads shoe size. I have size 8's, DP has size 12's so expect the dd's to grow big

My DS walked at 10 mo, and had first shoes about 9mo, size 3.5. Now 20mo he'#s size 6 already.. and just starting to slow down growing I think. I'm 5'5 and size 5, dh 6'1 size 8/9.

DD has been a 4.5G since 13 months, now 16 months, no change! I don't think it means much!

DS doesnt have any shoes yet as not walking much. Had his feet measured just for fun at about 14mo and he was a 3 1/2f, so quite small feet I think.

Ds was 3.5 at 12 months, now 22 months he is 5.5. His little friend who turns 2 in a month is a size 8!!

Thanks everyone glad to see it is not out of the norm. Everyone said DD1 was a huge baby and DD2 but compared to their peers they about the same.

Let's hope she settles down after a while. I'm 5"2 and DH is 6"3 and like I said I wear a 3 and DH a 13. My siblings all have average size feet as well but not on his side.

DD2 is 9 months and a size 3 and a half G. However she is a giant baby

DS walked at just turned 9m and was a 4.5H then. At 11/12m he was 5.5H. Now he is 16m and a 6G.

He is big though - over 30lbs and 34inches tall (about 86cm). Was 9lb when born.

My DD got her first shoes at 13 months and they were a size 5, she had pre-walkers before that too.
My son didn't have pre-walker and went from the soft inch blue shoes to first walkers at 12 months, his shoes were a size 4. Your daughters feet sound normal size to me.

DS walked at 17 months and was a 3.5G - and was above 91st centile for height and 75th for weight.
