my dd will actually ask her teachers at nursery to go for a wee, but everytime i ask her or suggest she go's on the toilet its the end of the world?????
we have the same step to help her get up as nursery, same handwash and wipes.?
why is she choosing to go there and not here?
we've just been sat on loo for about 20 mins as she was pumping and i could tell she was brewing something..but nothing but tears and tantrums..she was off 5 mins and did a poo in her pull up..she didnt even tell me, i just smelt her??

SUHTC ... it's a power thing ;) My dd always behaves much better at nursery than at home with me

My dd was terrible for ages and I managed to have her out of nappies for nursery at age 3 as they otherwise wouldn't take her. But for ages she would only do no. 2's in her nappy. In the end I gave up trying as it was always such a fight and also if she's in a tantrum she wouldn't relax enough to 'do the business' iykwim.

I couldn't resort to leaving her in a soiled nappy as she has very sensitive skin. So whenever she did it I changed her without big fuss and just said, well big girls really should use the toilet for this.

Then suddenly one day... off she goes ... and comes back beaming that she's been to the toilet.

So don't fret too much. The day will come when she is ready and then there is no looking back!
