Where to buy cloth for making nappies and PUL for wraps?

Hi girls, where can I buy terry/toweling by the metre and PUL for making my own nappies etc. I also want to have a go at making a waterproof cover for my ds' bed. I can only find american websites. Ideally I want a UK website or shop/wholesaler. I am in London but willing to ring anywhere in the UK.

Cheers.

www.babeco.co.uk has both, and you can get PUL from www.pennineoutdoor.co.uk (haven't tried either so can't recommend whether they are any good!). As you are in London you can get loads of different fabric around Berwick Street market.

Thanks for the suggestions. I keep hearing there's a good market for fabrics in london, but didn't know which one. Thx for that. Will check it out.

Hi 99 - you're keen!

Have you had a look on www.wahmall.co.uk?

There are 2 work-at-home-mums selling nappy fabrics by the metre. One is closed atm (Puppydogstails) but can still be contacted on email and the other is WeeNotions, who also make their own (v cute and v tempting) nappies.

Not sure if they do the PUL - will have a nosey.

Hope you're all well

Hi McMudda! Thx for that. Will check them out. I'm just so fed up of ds being sweaty every night, but the waterproof sheet is essential cos he seems to think it's funny taking off his nappy in the morning, playing with you know what, falling asleep again and then weeing when he wakes! Arrgh! Plus we're trying to do naps without a nappy... Can't wait to make something myself. Penineoutdoor have something called naprap which looks quite good but about £8-9 per m....

Hope you and the babes are doing ok. Will email soon!
