What gems of advice would you want to pass on to your grown up daughters?

I was writing stuff up in my journal for the girls and thought I'd jot down some gems of advice like - try and marry a man who is kind not just good fun and never be afraid to be different, things like that, and thought I'd ask Mumsnetters what bits of advice they would give their daughters either now, or once they were grown up.

Mine would be money-related because I've seen far too many miserable relationships with money at the centre. Never row all your money in with a man, even if you love him with all your heart. Never be 100% financially dependent on a man or they'll think they own you. Always have something of your own put by - you'll need it one day.
