I don't mean like a bilogoy lesson. Well this morning she walked in on us and she said" I thought the baby was in bed with you and you were trying to make her laugh and thats why you were wiggling" ahhhhhh. should we say something about mummy abd daddy cuddles so she isn't thinking her own thoughts that might scare her or something or should we leave it till she asks?

I would leave it til she asks. She won't think scary thoughts yet. She has no idea about any of that stuff yet surely? And when it does arise, just answer the questions that she asks. I am sure there must be books on this subject for little ones to help you explain when the time comes. Someone on MN will be able to recommend one I am sure.

when she asks.

yes, when she asks but no harm in leading her in that direction imho, the same way as you would in any otehr subject. for example, if you waited till she asked you what electricity was you might wait a long time, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't tell her
what did you tell her about where the baby came from for example?
you could lead a discussion like that - e.g. do you know where the baby came from?
it might be easier like that if you might be embarrassed because it migh tbe easier to act nonchalant if you are ready for the conversation IYSWIM

thanks guys, sounds like a good idea to ask her about where the baby came from and see if it leads anywhere. thanks again
