DS1 starts school nursery next week <teary emotion> Any other Jan starters?

He is 3.5, He will have to wear a cute uniform

Its a PITA though that I have to take him at 12.25 and pick him up at 3pm - what do i do for that amount of time?? Clothes shop!!! but once the novelty has worn off... Takes me half an hour to get there and to get back so once I get home i'll be leaving again!

Im not sure how I feel about him going tbh - hes my baby! But I am sure he will be fine...

Anyone else waving there DD/DS off to nursery this month?

My ds moves from private nursery to preschool this month. He's 4. He's there from 9 - 11.30. Luckily the school is two minutes away, but everything else is 20 minutes away!

My DD is 3.1 and had her first session at nursery class of the school we have chosen for her today. She will be going from 08:50am until 1:30pm Mons, Tues and Weds this term. School is about 8 miles/15mins from our house.

She has a gorgeous blue and yellow little uniform to wear and a little blue book bag to carry to school.

She had a great time today playing with dough, dressing up and painting. She wasn't so sure about school lunch though but I am hoping it was all just a bit strange and new today.
