Feel a bit Blush in not knowing how to use them but I have always used disposable in the past!
They are little lamb nappies with a liner and I also ordered boosters cos he is a major nightime wee fiend!!
I can work out how to put the nappy on put the long flap attached inside and the liner im not sure about, which goes where etc.

Please someone with some experience help me out!

Thanks

Have you got something to go round the outside of the nappy? Used to be plastic pants, now mostly wraps which either fasten with poppers or velcro. I haven't used little lambs nappues but am fairly sure they are a 2 part napp6 ie you need the wrap as well.

The nappy itself has the long part inside then you put a liner on and the baby on top of it. Then do it up (some nappues have vwlcro and others you fasten with a great thing called a nappy nippa. It has three ends and you put each end into the nappy to hold it together. Then put wrap over the top.

Hope yhat makes some sense :)

Yes I have got the pants to go over the top Asuitablegirl I can work out that bit is it was just the insider bit that was confusing me lol

So the long bit in the nappy goes from the back then down the length of the nappy? Does the liner go under that bit or on top?? They have velcro fastners so Im ok with that bit! lol who would of thought a nappy could be so confusing!! x

on my tots bots, the long piece runs front to back, which means you can fold it double to make it more absorbant in the right place, but you can also let it run the length of the nappy.

you can put the liner on top of that.

you might find you also have extra inserts for night-time.

i don't tend to use liners much anymore, as my ds is on solids and very easy to flick down the loo! but they great for pre-weaning.

Thanks bornsicky, so the fleece liners go ontop so next to his skin? Where do the boosters go, ontop or ibetween or on the bottom under the long bit of f\abric? x

ah, i see!

i thought you meant paper liners! (don't worry about them)

yes,the fleece liner goes close to his skin.

if you use a booster insert it between the liner and the nappy - on the bottom.

that's what I've done without any leaks or discomfort.

once you get the hang of them, they're brilliant.

Make sure you give them a few washes before you use them to increase the absorbancy, the liner always goes next to the skin. I bought alot of nappies that had a fleece inner and the booster went into a pocket inside.

Miss using cloth:( Can't keep on top of the washing though with 6 of us and a crappy washer/dryer (sigh)

May i also suggest searching on youtube for the nappy you have purchased? Really helped me

justtired · 03/11/2011 16:59

Rikalaily - Thankyou, luckily they put a little note in with the nappies to tell me to wash them a few times before use! These nappies dont have a pocket they have an attached flap bit instead.

Mrsspear - thanks I had a look on youtube they didnt have my particular nappy but they had a similar one so think I am a little more clued up???

I was one of the testers for the bamboo little lambs years ago, they are a great nappy :)

My all time faves were Bumbles though, they suck up pee like no-one's business and can be used from 10lb to toddler so had loads of them and lasted for 2 kids, still got them in my loft with loads of tots bots and some gorgeous WeeNotions pockets. Think I might resurrect the cloth now that dd3 is a bit older and doesn't go through as many nappies, even if just for nights, miss those giant cuddly bums they have in cloth hehe
