Doorway bouncers - how old does baby have to be?

We have a doorway bouncer - the ones that you hang in a doorway and the baby bounces in it. How old does DS have to be before we can try him in it?

Mine said 3 months. It was a tippitoes one. Their necks have to be steady. Mine loved his. I wish they did ones for 2 year olds!

I think he has to be able to support his own head properly, rather than be a certain age. That's what it said on the instructions for mine! (a Tippitoes)

mine said i think 4 months and as long as they were able to support their head good (not just starting to support their own head)....
