Due to being in care and then many foster homes (never at any point living with a parent), I think I might have a slightly odd 
way of thinking about my kids.
It's as if being around children/family life is not normal for me, so having never experienced it, I am slightly unsure of exactly how it should go - if that makes any kind of sense?
Wanted to hear from those who may know what I mean?
