2nd stage car seat foam under cover has broken - would you throw car seat away

hello - yesterday i took off the cover of a stage 2 car seat to wash it and the two polystyrene supports either side of the head had came away. should i throw the car seat away now. thank you

phone up the manufacturing and ask to get new inserts.
