my mum insists we were all trained by age 1....

she can't understand why my 17 month old dd is'nt potty trained yet!i only trained ds1 and ds 2 when they were about 2ish, when they were ready.anyone else come across this reaction from a parent?

Oh yes by the time i was one i was dry night and day and could talk in sentences. Oh and all four of her children slept through the night from birth. Selective memory is great isn't it

My mum says exactly the same as she hated nappies!!!!!!!!!! My ds is 2.1yrs and since he turned 16mths she has commented on him still being in nappies. I just ignore her to be honest..lol

My mom says the same - I was totally toilet trained by 18 months, still breastfeeding and co-sleeping when I wanted to and only walked at almost 2 I do belive her though, she has picture proof! and it is possible, my 19 monther has been dry since 15 months

So were we or so she says Such a tidy freak we weren't allowed to make any mess so doesn't surprise me.Ds not trained fully til about 2-ish
