I meant, how does she get enough sleep on school days? Does she just go to sleep early or does she also need a nap in the day after school?

I think it depends on what you count as bedtime. My two start getting ready for bed at 7 (booktime, toothbrushing etc) they should have lights off by 7.30, but it can drift nearer to 8 at times. ds sometimes finds it difficult to get to sleep, but he really needs it, so I don't try and keep him up longer. How early does your SD get up in the morning? My dd is usually around by 7ish, but ds can sleep in until 8 or so (always has to be woken on school mornings), so I know he really needs his sleep.

well i dont know what time in the week SD goes to bed as i dont know much about the bedtime routine... she wakes up at 7am and wait till we get up at 8.30pm so she is playing with her toys... when mum was living here she was waking up at 6am as she is a early riser.

7:30pm for a 8:00pm lights out during school week and 9:00ish on weekends. Touch later tonight as I let her stay up and watch Da Kath and Kim Code telemovie (pmsl)

dd1 is almost 6 (dec) she is snoring by 7pm in the week but usually stays up to watch a vid with me on a friday night so 8pm.
