My ds(18m) has started to spit, is it a stage all kids go thru or do i need to have a word with nursery??

I think its vile and 100% sure he's not picked it up from me...But need to check its not a thing all children do at that age before i speak to nursery tomorrow morning!

not all children spit for sure BUT they all find something to press parental buttons be it biting or kicking or dribbling their water, refusing to put coat on blah blah
