2 Assignemts by tommorrow or Quit!!

Im in year 2 of my access to health course and have a psychology assignment and an anatomy assignment due in tomorrow - ive not even started i feel like i cant be bothered, i cant find any enthusiasm for it.

I worked to hard last year and got good marks, so i dont know why i cant do the same this year.

I think i might quit!

Also, the finance department messed up the childcare payments and the nursery has billed me for over 500 pound. College is sorting it out, but its just extra stress on top of the rest

NO don't quit! Call and get an extension. They must appreciate that student parents are under extra pressure.

Go and start on one of them now, at least you can show you have done something

Or post on here and mumsnetters can do it for you!

Ive got 6 weeks worth of work to do this afternoon though and i cant face it (i should be doing it instead of being on mn )

Ive been missing lessons and not collecting the notes, dont have the books to do the work and am not allowed an exstention, so its either quit or fail!!

i dont evn understand some of the questions! like - draw a diagram of mitosis or meiosis that you have seen in the bioviewr together with what is happening during the stage shown... eh??????

Found a worl sheet on Mitosis and Meiosis to do with cell division and the human life cycle....is that any help ??

Bioviewer will be something you have seen on a slide, is that right ??

So they want an example of Mitosis or Meiosis that you have seen on a slide ???

I agree with the not quitting thing. I did that my first time at uni, my motivation just kind of evaporated!

Nope, no they wont extend the deadline as we start working on another unit tommorrow.

Am feeling a little more enthusiastic now. Do you think using google is cheating though?

I don't think it is cheating. It is just a research tool, unless you are searching for essays to copy!!

Havent even looked at psycology yet. Its about attachments, Bowlbys theory of Monotropy

I asked for an extension but they said no - and they are right really, i have no excuse for not having done the work other than ive put it off and havent made the effort

Ive had ages to get this done

Right, if you look here
and scroll down to cells and mitosis/meiosis and look in the list, there is something saying Marys slides. Click on it and open the file and it has piccies of slides of Mitosis/Meiosis.

You can just lift the meiosis and mitosis stuff off the web, there are millions of sites.

Oh dear.... Im afraid I feel the same as you... totally unmotivated.. totally.

I handed in 2 workshop assignments for media studies on Friday.. and have 2 assignments to have in for next week, plus another 3 workshop's due in on the 18th Dec

By the way.. If you miss lectures isn't there any way they can help you out? Do you have WebCT? Our Uni uses WebCT and thats just like a virtual classroom. we have our own username and password and can access the lecture slides for any lecture we may have missed, and the homeworks and essay titles are all on WebCT, they no longer hand out any papers or anything, just cover sheets for our assignments.

Google is allowed, as long as whatever websites you use, you put in @ the end in your bibliography lol (Make sure and not put in the ones you have copied and pasted lost of

What is your text book for Psychology? Is it the Kowalski and Westen one?
