By this I mean, something that is plain black, something that has a black background but other colours as well like this or this, cow print or zebra print.

:)

I have no problem with black.

My DD''s had the most gorgeous Agnes B black rinbber t-shirt they wore when they were a few months old.

They have clotes now that are black with other stuff going on too.

I'd rather that then dress them in Disney type clothes or solid baby pale pink.

DirtyMartini · 30/03/2011 14:07

yes, dd has a black baby body. Wears other colours with it.

bigkidsmademe · 30/03/2011 14:09

DS has black cords and a zebra baby gro to match

It looks COOL

mixedmamameansbusiness · 30/03/2011 14:10

Yes I would.

I actually know someone who planned to dress her daughter only in black which everyone thought was barmy - however she always actually looked great and has actually decided now she is 4 that pink is her fave colour.

BlingLoving · 30/03/2011 14:18

If I dress my child in black, I need to be prepared for my mother to expire on the spot.

I have no issues with black myself, but somehow, don't see it happening. Whch is a pity as if DS looks like his father, black will suit him very much.

marriednotdead · 30/03/2011 14:24

I didn't until DD was bought something black when she was about 3. It didn't seem right. Twas a very long time ago though, I probably would now.

My dd came home from hospital in a plain black velour babygro. She was a very pale red head - she looked absolutely enchanting. MIL AND FIL nearly had heart failure. Tried to enlism my Ma in their outrage, only to discover she had bought it!

meditrina · 30/03/2011 14:33

You can get wonderful Darth Vader babygros.

cheesesarnie · 30/03/2011 14:37

yep.

Honeybee79 · 30/03/2011 14:44

Yes. I do. Have a lovely black vest top from Gap with a white face on it.

DS (5 months) also has a black Nine Inch Nails t-shirt and a black Motorheat t-shirt that DH bought for him. I think they look great with a brightly coloured pair of trousers and bright long sleeved vest underneath!

BlingLoving · 30/03/2011 15:09

Darth Vader babygros? Where? I must have one.

BsshBossh · 30/03/2011 15:10

Yes. Did when she was a baby, still do now she's a toddler. She looks gorgeous. We also dress her in bright primary colours and also brown and olive green and grey. No pastels as I dislike them. But black - oh yes.

MavisEnderby · 30/03/2011 15:14

Yes,VERY useful wehn they are crawling, doesn't show the dirt so much:o

meditrina · 30/03/2011 16:41

BlingLoving: here. The pic is of the toddler size, but they have new born too. (It also does small Yoda costumes, which I think are particularly apt).

valiumredhead · 30/03/2011 17:23

Yes, ds had a black cow print and zebra striped baby grows - he looked fab in them Grin

Pigleychez · 30/03/2011 17:33

DD had zebra print babygrow as a tin and now at 2 has black leggings.

Not sure I could go complete head to toe black though.

Pigleychez · 30/03/2011 17:33

tin?? tiny !

BonzoDooDah · 30/03/2011 17:50

Yes yes and yes. Asda had the coolest cow print baby vests so DS is now wearing them.
Plus H&M had lovely black and primary colour stripey tops so he has one of those too.

DD had a black vest with gold embroidery on when she was little.

Why do you ask?
