Has anyones child been a football match day mascot??

My ds10 has been selected to be a mascat for his footaball club. I just wandered what its all about really as i cant find any details on the internet. Has anyone else been in this situation? Its an away game

My son was a mascot 3 years ago at our local league 1 club. He had a tour of the ground, met the home and away players, warmed up with the players and then came through the tunnel onto the pitch with both teams before kick off. I don't know if it will vary much at an away game. Hope he has a good time.

my dd has been mascot for Reading,and Chelsea....fab both times!!

both home games though and treated really well by both clubs

my daughter was a mascot at Mun Utd for their Champions League Match with Bursaspor. Amazing experience, absolutely fan bloody tastic!!!! treated really well, very very well looked after (as were we)
