Hi there I have just trained my dd, so here is my little story, I trained my ds when he was 28m within 3days, he was I have to say fantastic and just clicked, he is now 6 but my dd was recently approaching the 28m(2yr 4m) and I had thought about it but wondered if shw was really ready or not, anyway her potty had been out for a few months and she sat on it etc with her nappy on and said the usual pee pee potty and started telling me when she had wet her nappy, so a few weeks ago I stayed at home and took her nappy and bottom half off and sat her on the potty every half hour or so, and we got a pee, she was so proud, I then bought her a sticker chart and she got a sticker on her top and on the chart every time she done anything in the potty, there after every day after dropping my ds off at school for 3 days I took her bottom half off and she used the potty at home by me sitting her on it. I decided to be brave one day and took her into town and she wet herself when playing in ELC, I took her to the toilet there and cleaned her up saying what a clever girl she had been and that if she wanted more pee pee she just had to say mummy pee pee, the next day I put her in the feel and learn dora pants and she started saying mummy pee pee, she was dry for 2 days and would only pooh in the night time nappy in the morning, so I started whipping it off as soon as she woke up and we got a pooh in the potty by me following her round for half an hour, eventually when she did do it she was saying dirty, smelly etc I just reassured her she was being a big girl and that it wasn't dirty it was nice, for 2 days after we had small problems with her letting go of poohs, she really did think it was dirty until I showed her it went buy buy down the loo with all other poohs, she now uses the toilet for all poohs. After 3 days in feel and learn pants we went shopping for real dora pants and vests and we use the feel and learn at bedtime, then I noticed she was dry in the morning, so I now lift her at 11pm before I go to bed and she has a dream pee in the toilet and her pants are taken off in the morning to use the toilet. She really is a wee star, can you tell I'm happy!

Congratulations

And how mummylike that we rejoice in the bowel movements of our children. lmao

Seriously though.. well done. Didn't know about the feel and whatsit pants. Will invest in those in 6 months when I'm ready to attempt potty training the DTs. lmao
