I'm with you. I have 1858 of a 2000 worder and I am currently un-abbreviating words and padding out sentences a little.

This may be too late, but have you tried free-writing? Sit down with a pen and paper, set your kitchen timer for 5 minutes, and just write. Don't allow yourself corrections, don't worry if what comes out isn't quite right, just get something on the page. It's supposed to be a good way of overcoming writer's block.

And switch your router off or disconnect - which is what I'm about to do as have to finish a paper by the end of today...

1000 words, full of enthusiasm last night, and now the screen is blank. And I'm surfing the web. Even the tumble drying is looking attractive to me now.
