DD is 8 and going to 'boyfriends' house for tea. His mum has warned them 'no kissing' WTF???

DD is in year 4 and nearly 9. The class seem to rotate 'girlfriends' and 'boyfriends' weekly. It doesn't mean anything, they dont play together, they still stick to their same sex friends and naturally they don't actually 'go' anywhere together. DD is 'going out' with a nice boy and I know his mum and she has been to his house a few times for playdates and I view them exactly the same as I do playdates with her female friends.

She is going this Monday and his mum said to me last week, 'I have told him no kissing'. I was and asked he what do you mean no kissing, surely there isnt going to be any kissing .

WTF is this all about? Will she have put ideas into his head that they should be kissing? DD is 8 FFS. (he is a mature older man of 9)

Was she kidding? I would hope so! There was one boy in my primary school who was a bit of a kisser, he was 8 and we used to kiss him behind the outside toilets.
