Was it really stupid of me to think that they would deliver my new washing machine quicker????

I ordered a washing machine on the internet and the earliest it could be delivered was 9 days away!!!!
I had no choice so went for it and it should have been delivered today BUT the driver of the van drove into a ditch and broke the van so now it's going to be tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to be washing school uniform as soon as it's connected

My washing machine broke down in the summer. It took me three days to get through to comet to arrange an engineer call. The first date they offered me was 7 days later. When i asked if it was normal to have to wait 7 days, the customer service girl said that i wasn't waiting 7 days, i was only waiting 5 because they didn't count weekends!!!! When they did come out to fix it, they didn't have the part, and i had to wait another 10 days until they did. 20 days without a washing machine. Not good. I can sympathise with you
