Tall toddler need to move up to next stage car seat...

DS2 is 2.8 years and v tall. He is currently in a Maxi Cosi Priori car seat and I think he's outgrown it - the shoulder straps loop up and over his shoulders and his eyes are alomst on line with the top of the car seat. I've weighed him and he's just over 17kg. We have a Brittax Kidifix he can move into and that he fits into quite nicely but ... I think he's too young and I just feel he still needs to wear a 5 point harness to keep him sitting in the car seat (as opposed to leaning out and trying to grab DD1!). Is there any type of harness adaptor that allows you to fit a 5 point harness to a high back booster seat?

no, there isn't. but there are highbacks that have a harness, the britax evolva 1-2-3 has one, but i think you can only use the harness up til 18kg. that said it may be a while before he reaches that.

we have a britax 2 way elite which is great as you can use it harnessed up to 25kg, and has the added bonus of being an extended rear-facing seat too (tho you can use it forward facing if you want)
