I'm over the moon! I finished my foundation yr in May and went for my interview for my place for a degree last week, I got the letter this morning and I just cant believe it! Ok maybe a bit of background info might help, I'm a single parent who left school withouth any qualifications, I'm 38, I have two kids, a girl of 19 and a boy of 4. I've worked constantly over the years, ranging from working in a clothes boutique to my last job working in a homeless advice unit, anyway to cut a long story short, it's taken many knocks and bumpy rides to get to this stage and tbh I feel like I'm off on another rollercoaster but hey what a ride! so thats about it, I havent been around for a bit so maybe u wont recognise me but I just wanted to share my joy as no doubt over the coming months I'll also be sharing frustrations but for today at least Ypeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
