she is such an upset little baby today. her crying is really bad. usually she is so placid and lovely. but this afternoon she has cried most of the time. its like she has been switched over. think she may be teething again

Poor thing.
Kieran does that when he is tired, he got so worked up today to. I fed him and put him to bed early.

dd does this it either means she tired teething or has a sore ear. i try and put her to sleep so i can rule it out then give her medised if sleeping doesnt work. im sure uv done this but just to let u know ur not on ur own

misdee · 18/09/2005 21:09

she wouldnt settle. the only time she was quiet was when she was on my boob. she'd drop off then wake up screaming. is asleep now, so hope she is better in the morning.

WestCountryLass · 18/09/2005 21:11

Oh bless her, maybe she is coming down with an ear infection or something. If you think she is in pain, have you given her some Calpol? Hope she feels better soon

My DD does the same thing with her ears How old is your baby?

hunkermunker · 18/09/2005 21:13

DH says (I was at work) DS was the same today, Misdee - out of sorts and wouldn't settle. He's getting teeth (canine wolfy ones ) and he tugs his ears when he's teething too.

Hope she's much better in the morning. DS is down with the help of Medised tonight

dinny · 18/09/2005 21:14

oh, full moon probably. dd been a loon today/yesterday.

misdee · 18/09/2005 21:16

she always claws her ears, no infection. she does it when she is really upset.

Jess has been the same! Took forever to get her settled tonight - im blaming the full moon too.

Hazellnut · 19/09/2005 11:10

oh please let that be why dd was up from midnight to 2.30 am...... she's normally such a good sleeper at night and there didn't really seem to be much wrong....

Angeliz · 19/09/2005 11:13

This is strange, my dd is all off too!
Not sleeping, whingy and i have her an appointment at g.p incase she has an ear infection as she is itching it a bit (but i think she's just getting a tooth!)

Hope she's feeling better soon Misdee!

misdee · 19/09/2005 15:51
