When nclocks go back-you're not the starsign you think you are!

News snippet reminded me the clocks go back this weekend and this quote below prompted a thought.

'The clocks were put forward as usual in March 1968 and not put back until October 1971.'

For people like me who were born 'on the cusp' as they say in Astrology (although actually that's meaningless when calculating horoscopes apparently)I could potentially NOT be the zodiac sign I've always assumed my birth time tells me I am!

If I was recorded as being born at 12.10 on 24th October, a hour earlier could mean I'm actually a Libra Biscuit not a Scorpio Wink
if the clocks were not correctly set that year to previous years.

I know there's all the other signs in the chart to take into consideration and the rising sign, etc. but it's thought-provoking, although of course you can digress into the whole quantum theory science bit or philosophical idea of 'Time' but that's just makes it more confusingConfused

Well, that does rather highlight what a pointless thing starsigns are, doesn't it? I mean why would midnight or 11pm or 1am make such a significant difference to a person's life? Intervention in a birth could dramatically alter it too - an assisted birth at 9pm, rather than letting them struggle on till the early hours of the next morning, would have the same effect of changing which date they were born.

Does the parenting board have the most traffic?
I had no idea. My money would have been Chat or AIBU.
