Sorry for posting here but no replies on other threads.

I fancy going away NY with our ds 5 center parcs is too expensive.

What do you do?

I always followed the Scottish tradition of cleaning my house for the new Year and then not taking a drink until the bells....than getting completely rat arsed.

Quite a Presbyterian position really until the getting rat arsed bit...but now I am too tired to drink much!

Dumbledoresgirl, you wouldn't want to be my twin. I've just looked at your pictures and my goodness me, if you produce children that spectacularly good looking, I reckon you must be quite a sight to behold. They are very lovely indeed.

I look like a bag of spanners. But on NYE, I will cover this bag of spanners with a frock and celebrate our increasing age wisdom with you.

Awww SOH, what a lovely thing to say. Unfortunately, it sounds as though I am indeed your twin as I am also a bag of spanners and dh isn't anything to look at either, apart from a certain, vaguely Irish look about him.

I can't account for the kids. Hmm

Aliarse, do you open the back door to let the old year out, and the front door to let the new year in? DH always does.
