DD is 9 months and pulls any and everything off her feet, including a lovely pair of fur-lined leather ankle boots, one of which is now lost forever Sad.

So we had given up over the summer, and put her either in babygros/things with feet, or she just went barefooted. Now it's colder this isn't going to work any more but I don't know what to do, and don't want to fork out another 20 quid on something that gets taken off and flung into a hedge on its first outing...

Any advice?!

Just socks, and a cosy toes in the buggy when out in the cold. DS was born in December and got his first shoes when he walked at 14months, so survived 2 winters without frost bite!

If she is taking them off the surely she isn't cold, maybe if she keeps taking them off let her feet get a bit cold and then she might keep them on. I did this with socks pulled off (Dickensian Mummy emoticon).

I don't know if socks have improved in the last few years but I found Gap were the only ones that stayed on.
