Name dilemma at 38 and a half weeks pregnant!

I have one DD and I am due with a suprise in less than two weeks. I thought we had a girl name chosen but at the final hour we have thrown it out - for a variety of reasons.

SH and I both really love a name which has one syllable. But, our DD1s name has 4 syllables.

Does it matter that they won't match? Will it sound odd to say them together? When picking names did you worry about how two names would sound together and try to even them out?

beatie, my neighbour's 21 year old daughter is Annabel, and her mother calls her Annie. Everyone else calls her by her full name, and always has.
