French nursery, French Saturday school or French playgroup (weekend or weekday)?

Friends of ours think Ecole du Parc is v good if it's a full-time weekday school you want.

Hi all,
I've just moved to London from Paris. I'm looking for a French English bilingual nursery near north London for my 16 months old toddler, does anyone have any idea or recommendation? Thanks!

Used to know the head teacher at La Petite Ecole Francaise in West London (Ladbroke Grove area) and many people then used to rave about it. Lovely French nursery, good Ofsted report too.

mammanetta · 23/12/2011 21:01

weralice I think La Petite Ecole is fully bilingual:

Hi,

Looking for a French nursery in Hammersmith & Fulham area (or close by) for my son who will be 1 year old. Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks!

Isatrista · 18/11/2014 13:22

With my DH who is French, we decided to put our 1 year-old daughter in a French nursery so she can grow up in a French environment. We would like her to become bilingual so we chose La Petite Ecole Francaise in West London which was really great! Our DD is 2 now and is able to understand and speak more and more French! As I would like to encourage her learning French, I also started taking French language courses with Cactus Language… Really enjoyed it, I made a lot of progress!

Hello,

Would anyone know if there is any French nurseries in East London?

Thank you!

maouebx1 · 13/02/2015 17:01

Isatrista,

The waiting list for those schools is horrendous, how soon after the birth did you apply? I didn't know they accepted 1 year-old children. Could you confirm the address please, is it the one in St Charles Square?

Thank you!
