ahh - but Hattie if you have an other device to receive or record TV programmes (for example, a VCR, set-top box, DVD recorder or PC with a broadcast card) then you still need a licence (something new that DH and I have learned since he started his training on Monday LOL)

Really for a vcr? Shock horror, we used to keep a tv with vcr for training at work believing we didn't need a licence !
