Have just washed my hair, put it into 2 bunches and cut the ends off them. My hair looks fabarooney. I do this now and again when I feel frumpy and have not been to the hairdresser for about a year now and save loads of cash. Anyone else do this for an instant pick me up or am I weird? Any other free fun for mum tipettes?

No - has normal vest underneath - and sparkly string thing over top is quite cute and was cheap in the sale!!!

God would get shot at work - would love to carry this on but have to go home now - am awaiting laptop so can join in in the evening, was gonna talk to you guys this afternoon but have spent the last hour discussing Indian/Pakistani politics with boss and my brain is frazzled!!

I do love you all though - god I have not been drinking honest - you all just make me laugh so much (and cry at times).

I am a bunches at over 30 girl, in fact I am 34 on Monday and I often wear bunches and plait TO WORK Coddy But then we have no dress code. I am into the fun hair thing. When ever I get bored or in need of a lift I dye my hair!! DH had a real thing for Carrie Grant (you know the teacher from fame academy) so at Christmas I went bright red. When that faded I covered it with chestnut, then I found some stuff that has hair dye and a streaking kit in one!! Happy days for about a tenner! My problem is that I never used to get my hair cut (once in a blue moon) but I have just found a hairdresser I like and so want to go every couple of months!

Another fun freeish thing is mad polish on the toenails. Blue/purple/sparkley or whatever. I save my boot points to get free nail varnish!! Actually any cheapy funky makeup is for me. I hardly ever wear it, but I love buying it! Lip glosses are a big one, I have about 5 ranging form nude gloss to full on gloopy sparkle

Sorry to sound boring but to answer Squib's question ages ago - yes, I do order books from the library all the time - when I see a good review I immediately log on & order it - now I have a stack of at least 10 books waiting by my bedside and will I finish them?? (But you can re-new on line). Would never spend money on books...... rather spend it on wine.

Err..... last had bunches in my school days (30++ years ago!!)
