Starting a new job tomorrow after having a year out when ds born. Will be teaching a p2 class (Y1 in englandshire).

Have had a hectic week preparing and dh has been away sine early wednesday morning. I'm pooped but excited...

Guess i should go to bed then!

Just thought i'd let y'all know!

Had a fab day! I absolutely love the new school - staff so friendly and a really happy atmosphere. It was in-service today, so will be meeting the kids for the first time tomorrow.... can't wait!

(School in august as we are in scotland cod)

Not edin, in school in stirling.

She'll be totally fine... the classroom environment will be new for all of them & she will be sitting beside people who will quickly become her friends.

Hope hosp goes well for her. She'll be exhausted by the end of the week!

Hi ja9, i remember your thread about working out pay scales in Scotland.

Congratulations on the job, and I'm so glad the first day went well. Good luck with the children (they are the best bit as far as I'm remember, and y1s are so fabulous).
