Hi

If a package seems to be lost in the post can it be traced with a proof of postage, or is that just for claiming the money back? What happens if you make a claim using a proof of postage slip and then the package turns up?

TIA

unless you sent the item special delivery it cant be traced, if the item wasnt insured with postal insurance the most you will get is 27 times the cost of a first class stamp.

if the package turns up after you have claimed, i think your claim still stands as it hasnt been delivered when it should.proof of posting is more to show the other person that the item was posted.
