you go to the supermarket and all the parent and child bays are filled up so you park elsewhere and on the way into the store someone gets into a car in a parent and child bay but without a child?

great idea ggoblin. the next time I can't get a child/parent space. I will do that. And will happily explain my reason - politely next time - to anyone who asks why I have done it.

I pulled someone up once .. bloke with an older woman parked next to me in parent and child spaces (reckon she was mother / mil)

I said 'you do know these are parent and toddler spaces'

he said ... 'yes I have children'

I said ... 'but not with you' looking pointedly at the otherwise empty car

he made some retort to which I said "oh just f'ck off you selfish pr'ck" ... twas the best retort I could think of

I didn't win that one .. but I bet that he never parked in parent and child again
