Anyone been in South Ken today?

I'm still dithering about whether to take ds1 into London for a trip to the museums - anyone been there today? How busy is it?

Isn't it a bit late now?

I'm planning on going tomorrow - I would usually expect it to be fairly busy during school holidays (eg same as a Bank Holiday), so was wondering from someone more local whether it was dead quiet or normal or busy.

No idea what I'll do with the info as my main concern is whether we'll get caught up in some agro re transport. But was just curious. Also would give me an insight as to whether people were avoiding London with kids.

I guess I should be drawing the conclusion that Mners are avoiding South Ken then? Anyone ventured to South Bank? I was thinking of taking ds on the London Eye. I was in the area on Monday, but wasn't really paying attention.

I was in South Kensington yesterday to the Science Museum - it was fine.

Fairly busy - I think tomorrow will be busier because most schools would have broken up for holidays.
