Have you looked on E-bay?

You could probably get a better price on there.
I would say £600.

Yeah but it is couture and you'll have only worn it for one day!

I would pay that for one.

Put it up for a price you would be happy with if nobody buys it you are no worse off. You could always decide to put it on for a lower price should you so wish if it doesent sell.

I've noticed the question asked when selling a second hand wedding dress is - has it been cleaned? That seems to make it more attractive to the buyer, but can be an extra expense in itself for the seller.

I'm not surprised Tinygang. Mine cost over £100 to be cleaned .

Mine cost £1000 new, cost £80 to be cleaned and I only got £350 for it!

anchovies · 26/07/2005 19:15

I tried selling it on ebay but had much more luck advertising it on hitched

Tried £500 reserve first but no bids at all on ebay!

www.hitched.co.uk is a wedding site that lets you do free ads. I also put it on www.confetti.co.uk but didn't hear anything from them.

Relatively speaking I got a 3rd of what it was worth so you'd be the same selling for £500-£600. Is it a popular make (mine was maggie sottero which I think helped find a buyer in the end)
