After over six years of being a SAHM - I have at last found something for myself. Practically every moment in my life for the past six years has gone to my family and home and I was beginning to feel trapped. Although I love them dearly I was getting to the point where I needed something else or I was going to go crazy.
Got myself a little job now, selling kids books etc and I am loving it. I haven't had any parties yet but just preparing things for my business has been great fun and given me some variety in my life.
Believe me being a SAHM is blinking hard work, rewarding but also becomes very tiresome and boring at times. There is light at the end of the tunnel!!!

Our kids aren't little for long - enjoy it while you can. Your own time will come back to you before you know it.

Aww pleased to hear it Sparkler! I think I'm still in the honeymoon period of being a SAHM - my 2 are 3.7 and 13 months and I'm still loviong every second. I'm all excited about dd starting school next year and I can't wait til they're a little older to start taking them on holidays.

Of course, they're are days when I wish I was still young free and single and can't wait to get back into the real world!!!

Good to hear it'll happen one day!!
