ds at about 7 months did a scuttle and I think dd did a hands and knees crawl about 10 months. Know some children bottom shuffle and not crawl at all though like my sis.

Sixth months for dd who was walking and talking at 11 months

he's now 16 months and a half months and no walking except round the furniture

DD crawled briefly at 8 months; walked at 10 months. Hated crawling and prefered to cruise well before instead. Only reason she learnt to crawl was to chase friend's new kitten one weekend

dd bum-shuffled for ages and crawled the night before her 1st birthday. Didn't walk until 17 months and now a very active 2.75 year old.

My ds is a week off 10 months and is totally immobile, no commando or crawling of any type. They are so variabel arent they!

highlander · 19/07/2005 10:21

I don't get this - it seems most kids crawl at 9-10 months, so why do all the books say 6 months? Is is a historical thing related to when kids slept ont heir tummies?
