Because mine don't and it drives me bloody mad.

Our bathroom smells like a dirty stinking public loo.

AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Any solutions??????

Nope, drives me mad too.

Hulababy · 14/07/2005 19:56

DD doesn't either, although TBh you do need to give the button thing a pretty hard press and itis higher than she is.

lilaclotus · 14/07/2005 19:57

she does usually. because i ask again and again if she has. if she hasn't, she gets sent upstairs to go do it. i think it's sinking in now.

fishfinger · 14/07/2005 19:57

no
emma its boys

fishfinger · 14/07/2005 19:57

have new press button loo too
worked fro about a day

golds · 14/07/2005 19:57

thankfully they do if they have a poo, but not for a wee, for some reason they think there is nothing to flush. My main problem at the moments is trying to tell ds to lift the lid before he goes, I am forever wiping the seat dry before I can go aaaaahhh !

Hulababy · 14/07/2005 19:59

That is not good fishfinger. We've had ours since moving here (nearly 2 years ago) and it has never gone wrong yet.

fishfinger · 14/07/2005 20:00

lol! no imeant i tworked that the boys pressed it

god have to poty train ds3 when we get home form hol

Hulababy · 14/07/2005 20:02

Ah, I see!

Good luck with DS3!

fishfinger · 14/07/2005 20:04

oh i know
have run out of enthusiasm

you knwo htta day when you decide "today isthe day"
yawn

emmatmg · 14/07/2005 20:06

My loevly boys do it all the time, poos and wees!

If I haven't realised they've been it can be quite an awful discovery.

Fishy, do your boys have a good aim?

Ds1 doesn't even look at the toilet when he's going so you can imagine what happens there and ds2 lifts the seat about 2 inches and just pokes his willy between the seat and the loo1

Honestly, unless I say it every single time they go they just don't do it....and even then they still forget sometimes.

AND, as for hand washing

My problem is quite the oposite one, how to convince DS to stop flushing the toilet...

edodgy · 14/07/2005 20:27

Chandra i have the same problem my dd constantly flushes the toilet (shes 2.3) and when im on it she'll barge in and say "are you doing a wee mummy, oh good girl" then promptly flush the toilet if im still on it or not!!

Chandra · 14/07/2005 20:37

Mine don't even ask! ARGGGGHHHHH!!!!

nooka · 14/07/2005 20:52

pmsl - thanks! My two have to be reminded quite a bit - and also to tell us if they miss!
