I'm shocked and stunned. SHe was lovely. Sadly we'd lost touch. It really brings it all home.

They've not been able to identify her body, but her family have concluded she was killed.

I heard, yesterday, that a work mate of dw's lost a cousin in the King's Cross blast. He also lost a nephew when he died in a police cell, which was the subject of a number of highly reported police inquests. I believe he's also related to Stephen Lawrence's family.

Poor bloke's family have no luck.

The family of the Scotswoman killed in the attack is trying to accept that they may never have her back to lay to rest. How incredibly sad.

I feel stangely numb by the bombings. The tsunami really upset me and I couldn't sleep for weeks afterwards, also 9/11 had the same effect.
Luckily my husband was on the golf course last thursday and not working in london as usual.
A girl who works where i used to was on the bombed edgeware train and is still in hospital, it was the train I used to get to work.
Another friend decided to not get on the kings cross train at the last minute and a colleague of my husband was friends with someone killed on the train.
It seems all so close to home, perhaps the shock hasn't hit me yet.
