what do i get my dd for her 1st birthday?

i have no idea. been on the argos website, but there is so many to choose from. she likes bright and interactive toys. thinking of spending upto £40.
any ideas would be very appreciated

We got Ds a Leapfrog learning table for christmas, he loved it...about £30-35, lots for them to do, we got it when Ds was 9mths and he still uses it now (16mths)

One of the baby leap pads with a cushion pad under it and a couple of interactive books? My DD2 (now 18 months) has had hers for a few months and loves it, wish we got it sooner. The animal book and the little touch Bear in the House are her favourites. The book pages are wipeable and very hard to tear so long lasting and very interactive.

basketcase, is leap pad same as leap frog?
