A toy one, obviously. Courtesy of ds2 (2.5).

So: do I cross my fingers and hope the banging doesn't do any damage, or do I turn it off and flood the room???

Stop it and turn the dial to drain if you can. It probably won't do too much harm except to your nerves but better out than in if poss!

leave it where it is and hope it doesn't do any damage.
I've washed loads of things in my machine, mostly money though!
Just think how clean it will be when it comes out!

Sentences you never anticipate that you'll ever write:-

"There's a red double decker bus in my washing machine"

Made me smile.

LIZS · 04/07/2005 13:16

Can you drain it and start again. You never know if a wheel or small bit may dislodge.

And don't you love it, M2g, that pg felt the need to add "a toy one"? lol!

ponygirl · 04/07/2005 13:19

M2G - was hoping to raise a few smiles .

Was (lazily) hoping you'd say it would be OK to leave it, but p'raps I'd better not. We've washed loads of things before but they've usually been in pockets, so padded. This one isn't though!

Well, Jan, sometimes I'm surprised at what people will believe!
