Am I the only sad person who has got hooked on Survivor?All my friends rather piously say"I dont have time to watch telly"and make me feel like a couch potato.
Anyway I want to have a natter and a bitch about the programme so if there are any of the several million viewers out there ....

Binza, I watched the follow-up and it was really nauseating.I think its the presenter who is dreadful. Zoe came over as quite amusing and witty but nothing new to say about anyone or anything.
They do know who has won as I know someone who knows James and he came home a few weeks ago but was obviously bound to secrecy.

I heard from Andy that he did not know who won but knew who were the last 2.... so don't know who is right ?!?!?!

I also read somewhere that the 'JURY' know who the last 2 are and then they have to vote again and that the votes are in sealed envelopes somewhere not even opened so that not even the jury know the actual winner. But surely they can just ask each other "so who did you vote for?" and work it out....

It also said that if they do let on about anything that they will miss out on a proportion of merchandising payouts.....sale of book & video etc.... They must have finished filming ages ago - shame to drag it out for them (especially as ITV have changed it to WEEKLY instead of the orginal DAILY)

Well I think it goes without saying that Eve gets the award for the most lowdown trick of the entire series ie the tampon thieving! I couldn't believe anyone could sink so low and it wasn't as if she was in the running for the money by that point.She could've maintained some integrity by admitting she'd gone too far but instead she just dug a deeper hole for herself and to me it sounded very hollow when she said " I don't think I've done anything wrong and I can hold my head up high". I think perhaps she's a great example, or not, of a service training. Enough about her though who's going to go next? The rules seem to alter from now on as I don't think there are any more tribal councils. Is that right? As I said before I do think Richard is going to get to the last two and posssibly even win because he's using his head not his heart and he only goes so far with his underhand ploys. It's interesting that the last four have all used very different methods to survive so far.

I cant believe it I actually forgot it was on last night!!!My mum was here and we were having a nice chatty supper when I casually went to see what my daughter was watching and send her to bed she announced that she was watching Survivor I nearly had a coronary.I came in at the immunity challenge so missed loads! Anyway it seemed as thou' the sun had finally got to Eve she really has lost the plot.
But what will happen now, they are really quite a unit now,I suppose it will be whoever can stir it up against someone else..Probably one of the girls ,both of them being quite bitchy.My vote is that Jackie will go next as Charlotte is quite strong in the challenges.I still think Rich and Charlotte for the final two!

No I don't but he gave an interview on Richard and Judy.... and said he did not know who the winner was (he seemed genuine) - and was explaining the process - hence my "knowledge".
If anyone watched Eve tonight with John Leslie - she claims that she knew that Charlotte had her period for the past 2 days... if that's true then why didn't she say something during the challenge ... for example to undermine Charlotte in everyone else's eyes!
I don't want any of that lot to win the million - I don't even know who I'd vote for myself if I were on the jury. I hope that the T-Shirts of the jury will be explained later !!!

It's sure getting good......I think Eve was totally out of order with the period & tampon issue and she didn't really vindicate(?) herself on the John Leslie programe. I agree with pupuce, if she knew of this why didn't she say something on the log in front of everyone and sway it to look bad for charlotte instead.....because she's grasping at straws to make herself seem just a little bit better.

In one way i can see that she just really didn't like them all and knew her time was coming so why act up and be nice, but it is just such a horrid thing to do...even the tomato sauce inccident was a big twofaced ploy, firstly it wasn't actually intended just for her in her bidded prize, it was stated as a burger with the trimmings, with tomato ketchup - not to include A BOTTLE of ketchup, surely anyone in their right mind knows you don't need a whole bottle of ketchup for one burger...it was to be used on the other prizes too..anyway the point i'm eventually getting to is that if she truly felt it was hers to do with as she liked why did she have to 'sneak off' to drink it because she was so hungry, it was because she knew she was just being mean.

She's come across as a little bitch for quite some time but the last 2 days of viewing proved she is a much bigger bitch than i could have gave her credit for. I'd like to think it will be charlotte & richard in the last 2 as charlotte does seem quite fit & good at the physical type challenges, but i'm a little confused now how it works.....they have 2 immunity challenges on the trot? so that means no more voteing? does it mean the 2 who win the challenges are the final 2 and thats it, over to the jury to decide? If so why do they bother having another tribal council? Well i'll find out on Monday I suppose......

Pupuce, Yes I did watch Eve trying to justify her behaviour and I'm sure she was lying.If Charlotte had really already had her period then I don't see what she could've hoped to gain by saying she'd just come on at that point and like you say why didn't Eve say something at the time or at the tribal council? She kept saying she wasn't a thief but the evidence was there in her bag ie the poncho. As to the hiding of the rice -hmmm I'm not sure about that one.I think it could be Jackie making trouble as she is keen on doing. However Eve did seem to have a massive preoccupation with the amount of rice! Still it'll all come out in the wash as they say. I'm glad I'm not on the jury 'cos as you say I don't know who I would want to win, but I think it'll be Richard or Mick if he makes it through the next lot of challenges.

I remebered to watch the follow up about Eve and didn't believe a word she said,all that rubbish about periods etc why would she want to take any tampons at all when she knew she was leaving,she really was a cow.Iwould hate to have to work for/with her.
Do you think any of them keep in touch or are they sick of the sight of each other.
I have done something slightly similar when I travelled across Africa in a big truck with 10 other people ,you do become totally obssessed over food and who is eating how much.After all the niceties are dealt with the main topics of conversation were food ,bowels and sex!! We divided into 2 groups and spent hours bitching and moaning about the others your world becomes very small!Great experince though.

Whats has happened no more entries on survivor the final (which I have only just watched btw as I taped it (sad) while I was on holiday!

I knew who were going to be in the last two as a friend of mine told me that it was two women as her husband is a copper and knew someone who knew charlotte and knew she was in the last two but I didn't want to to spoil you fun - I won't say who won yet until i know whether anyone else knows or is it that just daft - i will say I loved the isalnd programmes but the UK studio stuff was done very very badly!!

I did watch the final, It was spoilt a bit for me as a TV critic in our weekend supplement gave it away that it was Charlotte & Jackie as the final 2. It was written in an article about BIG BROTHER so I couldn't even avoid reading it as it didn't appear to be about survivor! Anyway.......

I was pleased at the way it went from 3 to 2 and then out of Jackie & charolette I wanted charlotte. What I found most impressive was her 7-0 victory, she managed to turn them all to her point EVEN EVE & ZOE!! Eve's speech boosted my opinon of her too.

I would love to apply for the second one that is planned but don't think I could bear to be away from my son.....think I could cope with all else.

I couldn't stand to watch that awful programme for two hours so the kids watched it and we went out and found out in the morning.
Well done Charlotte for winning 7-nil I'm surprised Eve voted for Charlotte,did she explain why?

She did say why but I can't remember. Zoe said that Charlotte grew on her (that I remember)...
