JustThinking..you're stabbing in the dark now....

Shall I try one?

Hasn't Woking got a WHSmith with the largest selection of angling magazines in the country?

LOL !!! I have been living in Woking for 13 years now and there are lots of good things here.Unfortunedly it has become a bit busy- traffic is a problem.
Shopping Centre is nice and has nice coffeeshops (the usual) Children/teenagers love the Shopping Centre and for a change, Guildford is very close, otherwise close enough for Kingston or London.
Nice parks nearby, nice little towns.
The area is very international.
Horsell is lovely, close to town and quiet.
Primary school is very good, otherwise the private schools are excellent , can tell you more if you are still interested and haven't been scared away!

grew up near Woking. Woking town centre is like many others -faceless and lots of concrete. Beautiful places nearby though. Horsell lovely. Horsell common, which spans from Horsell to Woodham on the other side, gorgeous. So much open land and woods. Pyrford pretty as i remember. Woking is also the only town online to meet it's carbon emission targets as far as i remember!

horsell has a good primary school, although from what i know,a bit of 'youth culture' trouble in the council estates.

nice enough though?nice shopping centre and only 25 mins to central london on the train.i dont have to live there though
