jessicasmummy · 29/06/2005 17:53

think it varies depending on which toddler group you go to!!!

vwvic · 29/06/2005 17:53

See the little bunnies sleeeping 'til it's nearly noon,
Shall we go and wake them up, with a little tune.
They're so still, are they ill?

Hop little bunnies hop hop hop
hop little bunnies hop hop hop
hop little bunnies hop hop hop
Hop Hop Hop.

(clapping in time to the hop little bunnies bit)

Hth helps, and doesn't drive you too crazy!

Twiglett · 29/06/2005 17:54

See the sleeping bunnies, sleeping till noon, shall I try and wake them with a merry tune, Oh how still, are they ill? ..... Wake up bunnies hop hop hop, hop little bunnies hop hop hop

Big favorite in our house and very good for averting tantrams. Just tell DD to lie down for sleeping bunnies a great distraction!

lunachic · 29/06/2005 17:55

Twiglett · 29/06/2005 17:55

See the little bunnies sleeping till it's nearly noon;
Shall we go and wake them with a merry tune?
They're so still - are they ill?

WAKE UP LITTLE BUNNIES

Hop little bunnies, hop hop hop, Hop little bunnies, hop hop hop.
Hop little bunnies, hop hop hop, Hop hop hop.

Tune is, starting on Middle C (C' being the C above that, small letters being quavers, dashes showing longer notes)

CDEFGGGGAAAC'G
FFFFE-E-DFDBC (B below middle C)
C-E-G----
C-E-G-----

GggGEFFF-
EeeECDDD-
GggGEFFF-
E-D-C---

sagitta · 01/06/2007 13:31

TortoiseShell - thanks so much! That's going to make the weekend much better!

Boco · 01/06/2007 13:38

This is dd2s favourite. We've changed it slightly to maintain interest..

See the little bunnies sleeping till it's nearly noon
Shall we try to wake them with a pointy spoon/ or big balloon / or tame baboon / mouldy prune (at which point you prod and tickle the sleeping bunny til it squirms and giggles)

They're so still....
Are they ill....
WAKE UP BUNNIES!!! (shouted)

Hop little bunnies hop hop hop
Hop little bunnies hop hop hop
Hop little bunnies hop hop hop
Hop little bunnies HOP, HOP, HOP!

tortoiseSHELL · 01/06/2007 14:24

We do different animals as well - little froggies - jump little froggies etc, little tiggers - bounce little tiggers, little kangaroos - hop little kangaroos.

lucyellensmum · 01/06/2007 14:38

sleeping bunnies!!!!!! We love it love it love it! At one of our M&T groups we have a sing song and all the children lay down ready to sleeping bunnies, we can't not do it. At a music group my DD became hysterical because the lady sang sleeping horses, and that is blatantly wrong! DD is 20m!
