I'm sure Lakeland must do a wonderful coconut opener !!
Where are all our Lakeland experts !!

starlover · 28/06/2005 20:15

drill a hole in it. with a clean drillbit

starlover · 28/06/2005 20:16

or use a corkscrew?

lou33 · 28/06/2005 20:17

kncok a hole through using a screwdriver and a hammer, or drop it onto some concrete. Both work

Whizzz · 28/06/2005 20:17

Oh please do be careful (I sound like my mother)! I'd be tempted to use a chisel technique myself ensuring that all parts of my anatomy are out of the way !

marne · 28/06/2005 20:17

make a small hole in it with a screw driver or a electric drill then drain the milk out then smash the rest with a hammer!

LancashireLass · 28/06/2005 20:17

Lo, are you serious with the screwdrivers or just having me on?

OP posts:
lou33 · 28/06/2005 20:18

dunno about the others but thats how i do it

Milliways · 28/06/2005 20:19

We use hammer & large nail - 2 holes req'd to let air out. Then smash it with a hammer to eat!

unless of course you have a big green fresh one, in which case chop the top off, bung a straw in and drink the milk
