I have just completed a Return to Practice nursing course.

My trust did not fund the practice bit of the course , meaning I worked with no pay for 112 hours.

Someone at work whose dh works for a drug company suggested I approach one and ask for sponsorship retrospectively.

What do you think?

I used to work for a drug company as a rep, and whilst they do sponsor health professionals to do training, it is ususally a mutually beneficial thing iyswim.

I.E a company that sells a drug for diabetes/high blood pressure, will often sponsor a specialist nurse in that field to "further their education" prescibe thier drugs

It may be worth aproaching a company such as pfizer, glaxo or astra zeneca or one that does a drug in the specialist area you work in? I would not hold out much hope though
Good luck x
