heck no!! our mum's quarter share will have to be divided by 3 (me and 2 sisters) so even if its worth £200k for me personally that would equate to £16k - nice but not life changing

Sorry, jp, was wandering. Sorry about your uncle - you mean the one who lived there? - but that means your grandma's property gets divided 3 ways and you get part/all (dunno if you have brothers/sisters) of your mum's share? I can understand your mixed feelings but, as you said, you weren't close to him, so no, I don't think you're horrid
